Please see below our frequently asked questions.

We highly recommend that teachers register so they can access resources to implement the competition.

Absolutely! Students can register outside of school participation. All participants will have equal access to online resources, whether or not their school is registered. Furthermore, students can upload their entry via their own dashboard.

Entrants must be aged from 12 to 19 years and a student in the United Kingdom in one of the listed categories.

All entries from all age groups must be submitted by Thursday 1 June 2023, 5pm.

Entries must be uploaded as either PDF, JPEG, PNG or DOCX file formats. Files cannot exceed 10MB in size. You must submit one file per each deliverable.

The Submission page is available on your dashboard from Wednesday, 1 September 2022. Follow the step-by-step instructions on your dashboard to upload your submission.

No. Each student must submit their own entry via the Student Dashboard.

​No. You can only submit a digital version via the portal. Entries sent to us in hard copy will not be included in the competition.

If you do not have access to a scanner, we will accept very good quality images taken on a smartphone or digital camera. Make sure the lighting and quality are clear before sending us a photograph.

Yes, there are two student categories with different deliverables based on skills sets, and prizes will be awarded for each category. Once registered, you’ll find this information on your dashboard.

No. You will only be judged on one entry. We will judge the first entry we receive from you.

Submissions are open as soon as the competition opens. Please refer to the competition dates – here.

Wool4School sends regular emails with tips and information about the competition.

If you’re not receiving these emails please contact your school’s IT team and ask them to permit emails through from wool4schooluk@wool.com.
